Put a remote start/alarm/keyless entry in my truck the other week. It has a factory keyless entry, but I tapped into the lock/unlock wires for the door switch, so when I hit unlock, it unlocks all doors instead of just the driver door first then the others after it. Is there wires I could tap into to make it just like the factory unlock?

Sorry I thought I put that in there...my truck does have factory keyless entry.
i missed it.
If you factory keyless it should theoretically be possible but unfortunately I can not tell you what you need to do. You need to make the output of your new unit "trigger" the unlock portion of the factory unit.

Yeah I was hoping someone on here might have the wiring schematics for the factory keyless entry.
I too am in this boat with my 05 KingRanch. also the lack/delay of the domelight upon lock/unlock is also quite annoying. Anyone know what I have to tap into to get this to work like the factory fobs (including drivers Priority)? and while I'm at it, anyone know how I'd be able to retain the functionality of the door keypad without the interior lock switched controlling the alarm?

I am going to say there is not a practical way to accomplish it with the aftermarket alarm system. The OEM system has a separate driver door unlock relay that is wired to the GEM on pre-'01 trucks or the VSM on '02 and later trucks. The "All Unlock" and "All Lock" relays are wired stand alone separate from the body module (GEM/VSM) so that is what you were able to tap into with your alarm. If your alarm has a auxiliary button that is programmable and somehow commands your alarm system to output 12v via separate wire then you can in theory find the "Driver Unlock" relay and tap into that wire.
As far as I can tell, the body module provides a ground signal to the relay to activate the driver only unlock relay. On my truck that wire is Violet with blue tracer. If I had a universal remote that provided a ground signal then I could simply connect that to the relay and it would unlock the doors when using the remote. If my universal remote provided a 12v signal, then I'd have to insert a standard relay that provides ground to the "Driver Unlock Relay" just like the body module does. Either way would work, it just depends on if your alarm system has a feature that can be modified for that use.

Oops. Old thread. I probably should have replied to your's instead of the original post.
