Ya, im all for the trend continuing. More choices + less price = yay! I would love to see more choices in the performance head catagory, or atleast a couple a little more afffordable. What are our options now? Machine and port the factory castings for around $1000, Edelbrocks for $1500, Blue thunders for $1600, or doves for $????

Yep. That's pretty much it. Sometimes you can find some good deals on rebuilt factory heads that even with machining costs for porting will come under $1000. My C8s were fully rebuilt with CJ valves and springs rated for the cam I had in mind for $500. Add some portwork and the total came to about $800. They're not quite CJ or out of box Ed's, but they flow pretty close. Not too shabby for about half the price.

Ya, thats not bad. For the time being i will have to stick with the stock c4ae G heads when my engine comes in. Then when my final settlemnt from fishing comes in I will have a couple options.
