I have a 2003 e350 diesel shuttle bus with 143,000miles I am converting to a camper/toy hauler. I have been getting some strange codes and have trashed a $3000 tranny. Three mechanics say the power train control module is not getting a signal from the turbine shaft speed sensor and that I need to check the wiring from the sensor to the control module for continuity. One printed out the e350 diesel a/t control module schematic for me from Mitchel Repair Information, but the diagram shows a non-existent circuit, a blue and white wire running directly fron the tutbine shaft speed sensor to the power train control module. The blue/white wire begins at the turbine speed sensor, but is not connected to the power train control module as shown in the diagram. There is simply no blue/white wire at the control module. DOES ANYONE HAVE A CORRECT SCHEMATIC FOR THIS TRANNY/CONTROL MODULE?
Thanks,
Doc

I've never had a lot of faith or confidence in any wiring information not coming directly from Ford. You might want to cruise eBay's Motors section for a shop or wiring manual for your chassis-----they're quite plentiful there, decent priced too!
I wouldn't think the shuttle bus converter altered the PCM wiring from factory configuration but I do wonder if the schematic printed out for you actually fits the chassis/engine/year combination?
I found another year (1997) schematic and it shows the same circuit. I have a theory I am going to check. The dk bl/w wire may be a common ground, so it doesn't actually go to the PCM except through the chassis. When I pulled the PCM, it was not secured to the chassis...so maybe it was supposed to be connected through a chassis ground, and since the pcm was not grounded, the dk bl/w wire was not connected?
Just checked it, and my theory is wrong, no continuity between the wire and the chassis...
Guess I'm just cheap. I contacted one of the companies listed on eBay. The 2002 diagram is $29, but they want $50 for the 2003. I just need one diagram, for the automatic transmission, so $50 is a bit steep. Whatever happened to free info on the web?
