wiring diagram

I know the questions on the 4x4 transfer case solenoids have been asked many times, but I haven't been able to find what I am looking for. I have narrowed down the problem to one wire, but I don't know where it leads to. So, could anyone direct me to some wiring diagrams that would show me where each wire leads to?

Maybe one of you know off the top of your head- It is a white wire that comes right out of the connection to the solenoid. It is the only white wire back there. This is the only wire that has no power no matter the way I treat it. It won't light up my test light if I treat it as a ground, it won't light it up if I treat it as a live wire, and it won't light it up if I treat it as a switch wire. So, logically it has lost power somewhere in the circuit. Also, all the diagrams I have seen have shown that there are supposed to be multiple white wires (with different colored stripes) coming from the solenoid connection, and that the connection itself is square. Mine is round, and there is only one white wire.

By the way, the truck is a 94 Ford Explorer.

Thanks alot for any help
Brad

You might find it here.

I had listed out all the wires in the connector in some file on my computer but havent found it. Don't think your test is valid. Three causes for failure is bad brush contact, stiff bearings from lack of grease causing overcurrent, and bad encoder wheel contacts. I wouldn't put a lot of thought into this. Just clean it up.

Thanks for the link. I have already cleaned up the motor/solenoid. The red light test that is done on the control module indicates that there is a problem with the motor, but since I cleaned it up and it appears fine, I believe there is a wiring problem; especially since there is no power to one of the wires. What other way would there be to test this wire other than the ways I mentioned?
Also, I haven't ruled out the control module as the problem. When you press the 4x4 button you are supposed to hear a click from the control module regardless of whether the motor is working. I no longer hear that click. So, either the control module is bad or it isn't getting power. I am thinking that the white wire that I mentioned loses power somewhere before it gets to the control module (if it even goes to the control module).
thanks for the help
