Transmission issue need help

I have a ford f250 super duty 5.4 the truck sat for 4 months I pulled it out to take it to the body shop ad it drove great. I leave the body shop and I wouldnt shift out of first gear. I checked the fluid it was a little low still have the same issue. I would just like some advice before i spend three grand on a rebuilt trans

The first thing to do is get the PCM scanned for codes. Don't go to a parts store where they do it free, they can't read Ford transmission codes.

I was told that I'm going in the am to a teams shop they it might be electronic related since its not slipping
