Assuming u are not a troll, I don't understand the trouble fully, you say it doesn't have power when on the freeway? Are u empty? Best test is to pull up next to a chevy duramax or a dodge and race them, if they beat u, U'r truck is broken.

You will have to program it first with the "x-gauge" commands in the previous post to get it to read the parameters u need.

these are for HPO concerns

ICP
Inj. Control Press. TXD: 07E0221446 RXF: 046205140646 RXD: 3010 MTH: 003900640000 NAM: ICP

IPR %
IPR Duty Cycle TXD: 07E0221434 RXF: 046285140634 RXD: 3008 MTH: 0DCA03E8000A NAM: IPR %

this one is for the oil/egr coolers

EOT Engine Oil Temp. TXD: 07E0221310 RXF: 046245130610 RXD: 3010 MTH: 00090005F05F ( UNAM: EOT

fWT is already programmed on SG Known on here as ECT=engine coolant temp

5. Road Test For Restricted Oil Cooler – Setup and Observations:
a. Install integrated diagnostic system (IDS) select engine coolant
temperature (ECT) and engine oil temperature (EOT) PID’s on IDS
Datalogger
b. Carefully drive the vehicle at wide open throttle (WOT) / high load to
achieve maximum boost.
NOTE
FOR ACCURATE TEST RESULTS, ECT TEMPERATURE MUST BE GREATER
THAN 190° F (88 °C) WHEN MEASURING THE ECT AND EOT MAXIMUM
TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL
NOTE
PERFORMING THIS TEST STEP OUT OF SEQUENCE CAN RESULT IN
INACCRUATE TEST RESULTS. THIS CAN BE CAUSED BY A LEAKING EGR
COOLER ALLOWING (HOT) COMBUSTION GASES TO ENTER THE ENGINE
COOLANT AND ARTIFICALLY RAISING THE ECT READINGS.
c. Observe ECT and EOT PID’s on IDS Datalogger. EOT maximum
temperature differential might occur at throttle tip-out.
(1) If EOT is within 15° F (8.4° C) degrees of the ect, go to Step 7.
(2) If EOT exceeds ECT by 15° F (8.4° C) or more at any time
during the test, go to Step 6
Step 6
is to replace the oil cooler

Step 7
is to test head gaskets.

Without any additional TSB’s specifically for clogging oil coolers, the above statement
has been adopted by the community as the benchmark to determine a clogged or clogging
oil cooler. For the lack of a more in depth test process we will assume that a delta of less
than 15° Fahrenheit your oil cooler is operating within specifications. If it is above 15°
Fahrenheit oil cooler maintenance is required, which may include replacement of the oil
cooler core.

If you have an Android phone you can purchase an APP called TORQUE PRO for $4.99 and an $24.99 ODB2 Blutooth scan tool.

New ELM327 Bluetooth OBD 2 CAN V1.4 Scan Tool Android | eBay

I use this and it works great!!

well, without hard facts this would be impossible to help him fix, he needs to list if there are any codes, but without a ford specific reader that is next to impossible, he should buy the scanguage2 and program it for the xguages, my thoughts were boost related. but there are way to many possiblities without more facts. IIRC the 2003 didn't come with a boost guage on the dash which are highly accurate, the boost guage in the scanguage in stock form is useless. mine reads negative numbers and isn't correct, before you throw 2500+ of parts at it i would confirm thier findings, and if you were going to spend that money i would go and buy bulletproofs setup to eliminate the oil cooler from ever failing again. so i would tell him go here and school himself on the videos and read before having the dealership replace failed oem with oem BulletProof Engine Oil Systems

In his first post he said the mechanic said he only had 700psi ICP when they put the pedal to the metal

all that other stuff would be great I dont think he knows codes or anything

I am guessing not to much smoke since ICP low

maybe a run by the autopart store for codes may help

my bad, i must have missed that sorry, i would still upgrade oil cooler to condensor mount as long as they have to in that far. scanguage 2 can read those pressures so he can verify it

First, did your mech. have some codes when He had it hooked up?

Then for your SGII:

All 3 FICMs
Both ICPs
IPR
VGT
ECT
EOT
DTC
VREF

Not sure where your truck stands as far as getting out to heat up to check ECT Vs. EOT. (By the way, ECT on the Scangauge II is f*wt already in there.)

And readings from the rest. ICP and ICP volts while cranking and Idling. IPR% the same.

All FICM readings.

Check against the Ford suggested values in the list above.

DTC will count from 0-? If this starts counting, you have a code.

As you have read, Codes are a big thing.
