Well I have both the 60e and 80e. I use the 60e around town, better throttle response (not to touchy). Then for passing power I normally switch to 80e on the freeway, don't notice the touchy throttle on the freeway. 80e is way to touchy around town for me, I really have to baby the throttle to keep the truck from just launching off the line. I guess that is a good problem to have. Which one is suppose to be more fuel efficient?
No apologies needed. Your posts are a joy to read. Thank you for taking the time to post your experience.
Come on brother! I always have coffee on hand.

Thanks Diane! Coffee it is!

My EGTs are so close between 60eM and 80e, I need much more time to recognize a difference. My transmission temps are something like 10 to 20 degrees warmer on my 80e, but that's a good thing on my truck. 60eM is doing such a good job of keeping the transmission cool, it's too cold in winter driving and I can't judge the shifts on a cold tranny. I had to postpone providing feedback until this summer, when I can give good information on the shifts with a warm transmission.
