hmm.. could be? cause i just replaced my fuel pump also. and its the one where the arm reaches into the cam and everytime the cam spins and hits the arm it shoots in gas. i wouldnt the first clue to check for what that problem is...
and dont feel that way trey your helpin, thats all that matters
Can you check fuel pressure? I dont know how expensive fuel pressure gauges are.. I've never bought one mine was free. If they are expensive I can send you mine in the mail for like $5 for you to borrow. Its nothing special, but it works!
i dont know if i can, i have a pressure guage though... and the needle is always on green. i dont have awhole lot of wires and sensors all over on my truck... its from the 60's so if its not the item in itself its usually what ever follows into it.
Fuel problems relating to pressure or flow not be evident at idle you hav a set of idle passages that draw file into the engine by vacuum also included in the same circuit is a set of air mixture screws that add or remove the fuel and air by changing the size of the hole air can flow through, it is not dependent on pressure like a fuel injection system but it is all vacuum operated, you have to think opposite a Fi system, what carb do you have? And yes that sounds exactly like a m/c do you have disc or drum in front?
I see I don't rate a hello?... That I can understand ( I'm kinda an azz) but Poor Monty is in tears with his tail tucked down! ^^^^^he won't even look at tha screen....hes all better now got a small wag
Good morn Gerry how's it going on your side of the continent?
Today I'm actually signing up to take the courses for my Masters! It's gonna be a real PITA but ve got nothing better to do why not
Gerry I gotta ask how on earth did yo become a "slackmaster"? I haven't done any thing since 2007 and thought I had it mastered by now! How long have you been slacking professionally? And does it pay better than my amature slacking? These are questions I've been pondering as I'm considering turning pro! Is there a professional slackers guild I need to join? If ^so I'll try to give them a call next week...or sometime when I get around to it...you really don't need to answer these questions..as you know I'll never bother finding any more info. Ive got stuff on the DVR I need to not watch sometime...lol
