would the warrenty plate # be my VIN? i dont see anywhere else (even the book) that talks about a vin

ALSO... called up scottsdale paint and supply and they can get my colors for about 110-136$ a gallon.

BUT he asked em about base coats and such? i ahve no clue.... which way should i go?
