you will not need a clear coat if you use a single stage paint, i use Dupont Centari, its good stuff! buy a "kit" paint, hardner and reducer. it rins about 220 for a gallon setup. with a gallon of paint + reducer and hardner you end up with 1.5 gallons sprayable material.

hmm... lol well when it comes time to start gettin the paint ill have to come back here and start getting everything ready.... ive never painted before in my life so i have NO idea what im doing. all i kno is my shop teacher was going to give me scraps to practice on

i know it would be easier to take it to a shop to do it. but i dont wanna spend a fortune on someone painting my truck....

yes sir i did... and i have to work tomarrow when im not suppose to... but ill have wed/thurs off. it suck though cause since its not a busy time of the year i spend most the day sweepin.
