aww cmon now... you know cruisin on a bike on a nice day is one of the best things in the world. a plus though is the ladies ridin with ya on the bikes also.
And I was thinking you were a smart kid, then you go and start talking street bikes AKA donor cycles! You have 0 experience on a cycle, this is one of the most dangerous city's in the country for motorcycle riders, and you could put a lot of gas into Henry for 3k, most girls don't want anything to do with a crotch rocket! A cruiser maybe! But something comfortable with air conditioning is always more appealing to women they are more practical than us! Sure it sounds fun Zack! But it takes years of riding experience to ride a cycle on city streets, they are not like a car, you are driving for yourself,as well as everyone around you!
Jim & fat worried Monty
Just thought I would visit for a moment and give a shout out to an AZ salvage yard. Auto Recycling Yard in Maricopa, AZ. Excellent price, service, and people
thats what i had planned on getting was a ninja 250R. only reason im considering a bike is because they are cheap, saves ALOT of gas. and the amount of miles id be puttin on my ol truck between work and school. my truck would not be able to handle it well. and for 3-4 grand would not get me anything better then what my truck would. i havent made a decision yet, im just considering all the possibilites. and most people worry about the safety factor over the long run factor. like i said... my mind isent made up yet and its not going to be for a few months anyways till i even have enough to get anything.
see now your in the area where a 4 wheeler can be fun im a good few hours from a good open country area/ and that bike there bill, is the exact color i want. how much did you get it for?

3499.00 + a extra couple hundred for the muzzy pipe and monster sticker kit.
Jim does have a very good point about spending money on your truck.
3500 would rebuild the whole drivetrain
see but thats it. henry needs ALOT of work done. he sat for 10+ years in a driveway. all the seals are bad. the motor is very weak and needs to be rebuilt. the tranny slips and leaks tranny fluid. and safety is pretty bad as well. bill you know these old trucks. no power steering, no air bags, they dont stop on a dime. and if i get into a wreck a possible chance of killing the other person with the huge steel box.
henry cant be my DD for very much longer until i can throw money into him. but in a couple months i start school and the bills are gonna start commin. thats why i figured the bike. lol im not tryin to get all you guys worked up. just thought id throw the idea out there haha
think a coyote woulda done it? but i could do without the power steering, one less thing i have to worry about and i drive like it already does , but you had a front disc brake replacement right?
