Zack I bought my daughter a 2000 Buick Park Avenue off Craigs List for $1000.00 it's got air bags, new tires, air con, power every thing!....lol, the safe cheap transport cars are out there! Just look!
You would still have $3000.00 for 'Ol henry's engine, brakes & paint, tires, ect...ect...
Most importantantly! Is You will still be alive to enjoy them
Jim & fat Cares abought you Monty
haha thank you jim, glad to know you guys care about me
but yes i have been thinkin... i know for sure i want a bike eventually, but my truck could use some doin up. been pictureing that old fella with a new paint job for awhile. myabe i could even start on the new paint in NOV. but theres no way 3 grand is going to even put a dent in the motor, if anything id buy a whole new rebuilt 460 and slop it in there. but that would put ol henry in its death bed for awhile. id need to get a different car.... thats what it all comes down to. the thing about craigslist though is that they want the cash at hand... but through dealers you can make payments.
good luck with a loan now a days! my son has had a job for over a year and a half and can not even get a credit card with a 500 buck limit even though he has over a grand in the bank! well.... unless your willing to pay 30% intrest for your loan. then your paying WAY to much for something you want, think hard about it!
as far as the disc brakes, i have everything. even a brake booster for power brakes... you would need to buy a new master though.
^so Rolls Royce is correct! Sort of..... That one is a Packard built Rolls Royce Merlin, very rare and very cool, that appears to be a marine configuration, used in the landing craft, John boats pilot boats, ect...ect... Up into the late 50's! A twin sister to the Merlin that won the battle of Brittan in the legendary Spitfire! And Huricane!, it later went on to power the Nonth American P51/D which escorted B/17's & b/24's into The Rhour and Rhine valleys and eventually into Berlin itself in April of 1945, now that's a history rod!
I want a Wright Cyclone in my truck! It would kind of fit in the bed, but I would need a trailer for the fuel tank! 28cyls and a turbo supercharger may make 2400HP! But economy suffers...lol

Good Sunday morning all of you Az chapter brothers! I hope the start of the new week brings a renewed sense of peace! And awakens a prosperous new cycle in your life!
Cheers! Monty
This next paycheck I'm gonna start preppin my truck for paint.
I'm stll stuck between a nice candy apple, an imperial blue metallic, or a pearl green with a yellowish tint to it. I think the pearl would be hard to layout though
