Help!
I have a 1995 f150 with an e4od tranny in it. I have a problem with it shifting very hard into every gear including reverse. i took it to my tranny guy and after replace the mlps sensor and the solenoid body inside the tranny and still no luck. Can someone help please?

Do a search on here. This is a common problem with the E4OD. There are a dozen or so sensors that affect the shifting. The hard shifting is basically the trans detecting an issue and going into a failsafe mode with full line pressure. May be time for a trans rebuild, thats what I'm getting ready to do myself.

got the problem fixed it was a broken wire between the computer and the tranny. once did the scanner right got a code and ran with it. was not doing the koeoff test the tranny guy though you would get same codes by skipping to the koeon test. oh well it happens
