A few new episodes of "The Grand Tour" popped up on Amazon Prime. The Canada episode featured a Ford Raptor that they did some minor damage to, and I cringed while it was being done.
I watched "The overnight" because I recognized some of the actors and actresses in it. It turned weird, and I just couldn't look away, and then it got weirder, and I could figure out the direction it was going, and by that time I was too far into the movie to switch to something else. wow... I should have switched to something else. Some things you just can't unsee.... Don't watch it... Save yourself.....
I read an article this morning that Prime may not renew the contract for Grand Tour season 4, so 3 seasons may be where it stops. Just when they were getting things figured out. Kinda sad.
We watched "Wonder" last night, about a child with a deformed face. It was a pretty enlightening movie, and had several humorous jokes. I would rate it 8 out of 10. It had a decent cast, and some good life lessons. We watched it as a family, and everyone enjoyed it.
I am watching Inconceivable with Nicholas Cage right now, but he plays a pretty small part in the movie. I still haven't made my mind up about if the movie makes sense yet or not. The timelines jump too fast to make it seem believable.
SO I saw "down sizing"-- It was kind of an eye opening movie- the ending made you think. I liked it-- it wasn't very action packed or anything just a good sitdown movie.
I heard somone watched " I Can Only Imagine" what did you think?
We did watch "I can only Imagine" it was really a good spiritual type movie, Julie cried all the way through it. Different emotions for each of us. The Dad died, and I was relieved, because he was an abusive monster for most of his life, and Julie cried through it.
It's based off of a true story, (Hollywood's version I am sure)
It had a pretty good message, and had several laugh out loud parts as well.
Yep, I liked it.
I watched Martian Child with Jon Cusak and Joan Cusak on Saturday morning. Its not sci-fi, it was about a foster child that had an alternative reality, and thought he was from Mars, who was adopted by a single guy that wrote sci-fi stories about Martians. It goes through the struggles of trying to bring the child back to reality, while allowing him a balance of believing in his fantasy to help him cope with his past. I found it to be a great movie as well.

I've been wanting to see that for a while. It's a neat concept.
