My wife signed up for the Amazon Prime, which includes free movies (some lower rated and older ones)
One of the benefits of it, is the TV show Grand Tour, which is the old "Top Gear" and even though I know it is 99% scripted, it is one show that I really, really enjoy.
We have Netflix as well, but it doesn't seem like we watch it often.
A Coworker suggested an app called PopcornTime. I tried it to see how user friendly it was, and it was very user friendly, then I went online to see how legal it was, and there were huge red flags. So.. I deleted the app. Sad, it had all the new movies on it, and in theory its all free, at least till you get caught eh..
AAAAhhhh so if you use your neighbors internet connection and download movies to a public cloud server- Then convert the files to a non movie or stream file type- then download the movies to your local server (writing a script to do all that in one simple step) and then convert the non movie file type to a movie file type once it is on the local server then use the web browser on your smart tv s to locate the D:\working files\movies\moviename file on your server--- then Popcorn time is great!! (and fairly un traceable)-- or so I have heard! :-)
on the flip side having amazon prime means free 2 day shipping on anything :-) You could always do what the college kids do-- one person pays for prime- one for hulu- one for Netflix- ect ect then share passwords-- then you only pay for one service and get serveral--- or you could go online and get a hacked amazon stick for $60- which has everything free :-) (for now)
That was an intense movie!! I watched it a few weekends ago. That kind of work is something I could never consider doing. ever...
Yup. Spook world is messed up. When I was in the service everyone hated um and you did not want to be thought of as someone who worked with them. No one would trust you. If they were anywhere close it was "Run Forrest, run". They were worse than a bad radiation leak.
Watched "the little boy" on netflixs-- Good movie it was very thought provoking- and had some really funny laugh out loud parts- Not the raunchy comedy stuff that usually out these days.
Not necessarily a movie, but we have been watching "Canada's worst drivers" on Netflix.
Its sad to think that there are people out there that have no idea how automobiles work, or that the things they do inside the auto effect the outcome of what the rest of the car does.
They really tear up some pretty nice vehicles for the show. One was a newer style Mustang, and the other was a 2011 Camaro. They start out as nice vehicles, and before the first challenge is over all sides are destroyed, and bumpers ripped off.
