That is awesome. I thought I got a good deal on mine but nothing like that. I have the same problem. Mine has the same mileage (38,000) but I don't like the colors, and I almost feel guilty thinking about painting it something different. Yours on the other hand, great colors (in my opinion). It would be tires and wheels for me.

I gotta say you are getting some great gas mileage. My '96 Bronco is getting that although I suspect both weigh about the same since mine has all the options.

Do you happen to know what the gear ratios are and what tire size are you running?

It has 3.54 gears and 235/85/16 Toyo Open Country's.

It is infact a 76 SCS with a 460 soon to be a 514 mileage when I got her was super low 32xxx i picked it up from a farmer in linden CA he bought it in 76 and blew the motor in 78 and parked it in his barn I got in 2004 and it was my daily driver up to about 2010 and im on the wall about restoring it or leaving it un molested in that pic i put on regular camper special emblems on while i cleaned up the originals

Great history. Mine was in a shed/barn by the widow of the original owner. Has 42K original miles on it and totally original and unmolested. Personally, I prefer to keep things unmolested if possible.
