Might be stupid question but I don't want to tear
into something I don't know about.
My new shroud comes tommorow.
Need to pull the direct drive fan. No clutch.
Is it as simple as removing the four bolts?
No bolt in middle that I can tell.

Thanks in advance
Well got it done after long day at work
and alot of time on this radiator.
ONE QUESTION
What holds the pulley on? The fan and spacer bolts just went
into the pulley
but I dont remember a nut for the pulley.
It actually pulled out some and I
slipped it back on the shaft.
It's all put together and now I'm
thinking about this. HELP
the pulley behind the fan? if so the fan holds this pulley on. at least on a 460 and a 400. the fan has four bolts that go into the pulley.. but they really just pass through and the shaft is threaded for those bolts thus holding the pulley on
im not sure about a 360 so unless it has an unusual setup usually the pulley goes on the water pump then the spacer and then the fan. so the fan and spacer hold pulley. not sure of the torque i believe it was 12 to 18, of course dont take my word for it i usually just hold the fan and tighten the bolts until i feel tight enough which is usually right before i think something might snap. good luck
