Josiah, it would have been good to of seen you out there!

Currently in fruita, co. I ended up meeting a few people at the tral in durango, rode with them, went out to eat later, and parked my VW at their campsite for the night. One guy took a nasty fall and busted his face pretty good, stitches in his nose and the inside of his eye lid! We all went to the ski resort just outside of durango to ride the down hills, there was only actually two, all downhill runs at the entire mountain!

Basically, you rode the lift, and then most of the trails were XC trails that gained another 1,000ft in elevation from the top of the lift!

The guys told me about this awesome trail in crested butte, reno/flag/bear/dead mans, it was an awesome 20 mile ride, I am glad I got to do it!

Tomorrow, I'll do a bit of riding here in fruita, then its of to moab!

Today I was in fruita, Rode a portion of the rode 18 trail system. It was ok, was expecting a lot more out of it, I wouldn't go out of my way to ride it again.

After that, drove over to Moab, where I am currently, went through archs national park, weather was pouring rain on and off, but I still went through the entire place.

I am not sure what I am going to do tomorrow yet, my legs are real sore, maybe I can find some cliff jumping and just relax for the day!

No worries! I slept at the camping world in Draper!

Yesterday, I rode down in cedar city, out in the desert on a nice trail system (when I wasn't trying to figure out where the hell the trail was!)

So today, I rode up in big cottonwood canyon, outside of salt lake city, amazing scenery up there, long climbs, long descents, real fun ride. I did an out an back route, rather than a shuttle route. My fitness level rite now is absolute beast mode! Today's ride was 18 miles up around 9-10,000 feet. I am not even feeling tired or sore in the slightest, and I ride a 33lb all mountain machine with flat pedals.

I always get one hell of a sense of accomplishment after dong an amazing ride like this though. Rite now, I am currently just parked here in twin falls, figuring out where to go/what to ride tomorrow. I've read a ton of trail reviews for the eastern/south eastern part of the state, nothing has really stood out to me. Anything under 10 miles, I dont really want to go ride, anything flat I dont want to go ride, so far I've ruled out all these areas, Idaho city, Driggs, Idaho falls, Twin falls, ketchum.

I'll be cruising over to Boise here in a bit, looks like there is one nice, 20+ mile ride out there, with lots of climbing so you know that means a long downhill!

Took some pictures from today's ride, I'll post up later!

Did some riding outside of boise today, got a nice 18.5 mile ride in! Basically went straight up this mountain then back down it. On the way down, a bee went up my shirt and stung me. I am allergic but a few months ago completed my allergy therapy to them so I did not react to the sting which is great cause that means I didn't die! I do still carry epi pens with me though.

I am currently in McCall, Id, gonna ride here tomorrow then head up to Coeur d' Alene. I also did some math tonight, I spend about 52.55 dollars a day on average between gas, food, and whatever else. At this rate, 'll be broke come the end of October. I gotta try and find some cash labor jobs to work along the way!

Finally changed the oil again in the van today, its been about 7,500 miles since the last change, the oil really didn't look bad! Probably the cleanest running engine I've seen in a long time.

I finally gave up on trying to find a decent price on at a shop to change the oil even with me providing my own oil & filter, everyone of em wanted between 20-30 dollars, then I would ask them If I could just use one of there pans an do it my self, same response. I really didn't wanna be haulin around an oil change pan, but i found a good way to strap it up underneath the body, tucked outta the way with some bungee cords so it's all good.

Side not, had another stinging insect fly up my shirt today while bombing another down hill, was a wasp this time, kinda stung me a little, but not bad at all, I like riding here in Idaho but damn, way too many bees and such!

I gotta figure out if I want to ride here tomorrow again, or head over to washington and on up into canada instead.
