I am really looking forward to it, as I just got the front fork rebuilt for the mountain bike, feels so much better, the whole bike is plush, responsive, and most importantly, working properly!
Stay safe guys!

Ah yea, you can definitely spend some serious $$$ on em. If you wanna take a chance, wait til around December, go to the bike shop, find the '11 models on clearance, i did that with mine back in 08 and got it 40% off. But they usually have real limited selection!

Evening from Salida, co! Guess theres a free campground on highway 50 so ill be parking there for the night! I cut two days worth of biking out of the trip. Drove to the buffalo creek spot, but decided to skip it since they wanted $$$ to park, then drove to aspen, skipped there because of rain/t-storms.
The drive to aspen was real nice, went up over independence pass. I'll be doing a trail tomorrow that starts at the top of monarch pass on highway 50. Looks like 20-30 miles of riding!

Haha thanks Jim!
Rode the trail today, starts at monarch pass on route 50 in colorado, rode that bad boy out for 13 miles then back to the start, lotta up and down! I was so tired when I got back to the van, felt like I was drunk! Trail started at 11,300, climbed to 12,000 and then down to 10,800 at marshall pass. I continued on after marshall pass along the continental divide trail/ colorado trail, whichever you want to call it for a little longer.
Great scenery, best views on any biking trail I've done so far. A lot of it was above the tree line!
I am currently in Taos, NM. Gonna do some ring here tomorrow, but if I am to sore, then I'll cruise over to Abiquiu lake for some clff jumping, then onto los alamos.

**** new mexico, this place is filthy, got 1 ride in here yesterday, thats it, wasted this part of my trip. Was gonna do some epic riding today, get to the parking lot, broken glass everywhere, go to park at the local grocery store, instantly mobbed with beggars and homeless drunks, askin me for money, eying up what I have. Last night, sittin there in the van, guy tryin to break into the car right next to me. I'd like to go do some epic riding here, but it's not worth getting my stuff jacked!
Off to durango, CO!
