Road trip!

Hello all, starting my road trip today, figured I get this thread goin so I got something to keep ya updated with! Recently bought a 1985 VW vanagon westfalia, so its got the pop top, stove, fridge, bed, sink, all that good stuff. Bout to set off here in a few hours, starting from here in south eastern ct.

The general route is going to be to head up north, MA, NH, ME, then back over to NH, VT, upstate NY, down through PA, across OH, Up MI to the northern peninsula, across to WI, MN, the dakotas, MT, then up into canada, then I am going to go all the way down eastern side of the rockies, and once I hit the bottom, go all the way back up the western side of the rockies, back into canada. Then after that, I'll go back down the entire west coast, and when I hit the bottom, I'll start heading back east, across AZ, NM, TX, eventually probably start going north once I hit GA, go up the appalachians, and criss cross back and forth between the mountains and the ocean.

Purpose of this trip:
Mainly to mountain bike, hike, cliff jump, and surf all over, and to see anything I want, and go for as long as my heart desires . General map of where I think I'll be is down blow, as well as a picture of the bus! I'll keep everyone posted, maybe meet up with some folks along the way!

Now that's the general directions, But I will zigzag a lot so I can see anything and do everything in between!

Definitely plan on stopping around there! Saw some cliff jumping online in northern MI, I never got to check it out when I lived there so now is the time!

Jealous of anyone who has the time, money and freedom to make such a great trip.

I figure you should be in my area right about now - I will be the guy by the side of the road hitch-hiking. Stop and pick me up.

Have a great trip. Be safe.

Eevening from boston everyone! Crashing at my cousin's place for the night. Finally let around 6pm. The bus ran good the whole way so far! Biggest PITA was the gps, thing was stuck on "demo" mode or the majority of the ride so it made for some interesting directions. I am gonna see if I can find a good place to ride in NH tomorrow, maybe test out the GoPro helmet cam
Josiah, I think I'll be out in colorado within a month!

Gonna go and get some sleep, night!
