6.0 power loss when pulling

6.0 power loss when pulling

I have a 2004 6.0 that loose's power when pulling a long hill? Any sugestions please...Have changed fuel pump and fuel filter...computer not coming up with any codes

I heard a fella just today talking about the same issue. said the truck wouldn't pull a wet hen off the nest. Pulled the cat and it was clogged. Just a thought.

What is your fuel pressure?
Check ficm voltage.

pull your egr valve and clean it

check your CAC boots spray with soapy water watch for air bubbles

you could try this

just back the 2 bolts off right before the cat in the exhaust and see if it helps

with some gauges you would just watch the reading

You have two threads going at once on this same issue. It might be helpful to close one ane keep the other active. Having said that, have you checked out the Tech Folder thread as suggested?
