It’s even got the correct 1951 and earlier WDX/B1PW style bed. In ‘51 they switched to the 2wd style embossed side panels and three stake pockets per side beds on PWs. Stu
It’s an original cab/chassis or flatbed based on the shorty original boards. I think it’s an F-3 rather than F-2 from the looks of the rim lips. There were plenty of surplus beds available for whomever did the build.
Edit - hey Wayne, could the truck really be a Merc based on the nose badge area between the vent holes? If it’s a Merc it would be an M-68 because they didn’t produce any F-57/M-57 Canadian Fords or Mercs. Stu

Stu, I doesn't have the Merc grill or the fender mounted parking lights.
This is the only extended cab I recall seeing a rear view of, and it's unique because it's a '48-'50 cab and dog house teamed with a '47 and earlier bed and Marmon-Herrington half ton chassis. This turned up a year or more ago and we've heard nothing of it since. Stu
