I looked it up. Here what Google said:
"Is Mack going to make a pickup truck? But what about those rumors you may have seen online about the company also looking to branch out into pickup trucks? For now, there is no such 2025 truck in the works, though the rumor mill has been fueled by untrue AI-generated content."
I like that second one, but at today's prices it'd be $90,000+
AI sucks because when you do a search for something real, the AI crap will be the first hits. Almost always.
With the prohibition of selling, and in some cases even using, new vehicles over 8500GVW in 8 states just 7 days away, unless the manufacturer also has an electric version to sell along side them, which no one does, especially in the larger truck and RV segment, it will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. 3/4 ton+ pickups, large work trucks, machinery and motor homes may be just an AI pipedream soon.
in the videos for those fake trucks, they cant even proofread their fake advertisements. they talk about the LED lights strips integrated into the headlights an fog lights in the bumper..
except there are no LED light strips in the round headlights, and no fog lights in the bumper.
Those concepts are cool. I believe that is Chevy brought back the '55-'57 two door car with a modern drive train it would sell well if the price point was reasonable. The price of all modern cars/trucks is getting unreasonable. Most of that cost goes into the tech in them. A lot I don't need.
And....a big part of car pricing is the warranties. You are basically paying for every component twice. In the old days, cars were cheap, but when something went wrong, their wasn't much support from the factory. Today's world we have super long warranties.
If you own a newer car uses the warranty. I know its a pain to go to the dealers, but make them fix whatever is wrong.
