These might be real or might be photoshopped. None-the-less, I've seen COE/panel truck combos at car shows with my own eyes. Any skilled body man could pull this off. I'm not particularly skilled but think I could do it. (see the 5" chop on my avatar; done in my two car garage in 1992/93)

AFAIK, the first chrome bumpers offered for Ford trucks was 1957 custom cabs.
