Oil filter pulled and no oil in the valley, if that's the correct term.

Glad you took the advice (from the other thread you had going)! Those WIX filters have "bit" quite a few people!

So many people will ignore the advice to put in an OEM filter. It is VERY frustrating.

It would be good if you updated the other thread w/ your results. That helps people that do searches for similar issues.

I couldn't believe how many people in Winston-Salem were running the wix filters and just didn't care. Lots of oil related issues too.

If I hadn't gone to the shop and suggested an OEM filter an cap to replace the WIX stuff, he may have torn the top half of the motor off and ran my bill up into the thousands real quick. The tech couldn't believe it was the filter....

I can't thank this forum enough for the help. I had a guy that I've never even met offer to come and get me 4 hours away. FTE has some good people!!!
