left is always from sitting in the drivers seat. so it would be drivers side manifold.

Haha, no offense taken. Yup, full mark on the stick. I thought the same thing. I noticed something weird though, there is oil on the left battery and surrounding areas. Not a lot and not enough to drip on the ground, but it's obviously oil.

Keep diggin! What were you monitoring the ficm with? does it tell you anything else (codes) Is your Ficm still reading good ko?

I was using a buddy's SGII to monitor the FICM. I have an SCT X3 and no codes were read. Would the P code come up if the FICM crapped the bed?

Should, P0611 iirc, but you need Cheezit or Bismic, or Ncpartsman or Vloney or etc! I am learning alot yet myself, and The ppl on this forum save my a$$! I am long on back, short on brain! Wait for them too help.

p0611 may show... but not always. its a strange code.

Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to check the FICM voltage? Is it something I can do by myself? I'm hoping to find a cheap MM somewhere and thinking I might be able to get the degas tank out of the way using my leatherman.

degas tank 2 8mm bolts and it flops over.
there is a thread as will as a sticky in the tech folder.
search ficm repair.

Thanks, found it. Looks like I'll need someone to turn the key for one of the tests...


Im thinking it has to be the FICM since I'm not hearing the injector clicking while waiting for the light to go out on the dash.
