Thanks Bill!!

As a side note, anyone looking for an F600 Dump truck?! I have to many trucks,,, says not me, but insurance company, AND since it is a F600, it is considered commercial. So, long story short, I don't really use it, other than to drive around the block with the kiddos every other week or so, and I really don't want to pay insurance on it in addition to all my other members of the "fleet"!
Registration is paid through the end of Dec. it runs great, got new kingpins in and tie-rods in the next few days. It was a whim buy to save it from letting sit and rotting away,,,

If you need parts, obsolete or not, I can look up the numbers, then search for them on two online websites to see if anyone has them. Then will post the part numbers, sources that have them.

If the parts are still available, I will list the MSRP and the FTE member discount price offered by sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM (Ed Olson, parts manager of Horizon Ford in Seattle WA).

I've been doing this jazz on FTE since 11/04/2006. And, btw: One of the parts locator sites is only accessible to FoMoCo Dealers.
Hello Numberdummy,

I just bought a '67 C900 Ford Fire truck. Vin# C95LUA5664. Any information you can dig up would be greatly appreciated.
I see you are in Hacienda Heights. I live in Glendora, so we should get together and talk Ford trucks over at In-N-Out.

Thank you,
Rodger

1968 ford f 850. I have two numbers that are stamped on the rear front spring hanger. Can these numbers be crossed over to actual ford part numbers? c3ta-5795-f and c3ta5785-h. If not, what year truck are these hangers used on?

VIN contains 11 digits, first 6 are correct, one number of serial number missing after the letter A. So I cannot give you the build month.

C95 = C950 / L = 534 4V / U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant / 1967 serial number range: A00,001-B82,000.

btw: I don't care for In-N-Out's wilted lettuce and at 6-5 325, I need another hamburger like I need another appendix! You wanna talk trucks, the place to do it is at Early Ford Store in San Dimas.

F75 = F750.

K = 361 2V FT engine.

U = Louisville KY Assembly Plant.

612922 = 1965, assembled November 1964.

174" Wheelbase.

F750, 22,500 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

481: 4 = Light Beige Crush Vinyl & Light Beige Wicker Pattern Vinyl / 81 = 81A Standard Cab.

L = Clark model 2651-V1 or 2653-V1 5 Speed Direct.

76 = Timken model H140 Single Speed Rear Axle / 7.20-1 / 17,000 lbs. Rear Axle Capacity.

Hi Bill... I'm looking for a part number to the insulation that wraps over the A/C accumulator in a 2000 Ford SuperDuty. (YEB72853). It's a foil covered pad that is form fitted to wrap around the aluminum accumulator. The search for this part number completely stumps the younger generation parts counter. Since it is below 2001, I was hoping you could help. Thanks!

Pic in parts catalog shows no insulation in relation to accumulator...which I didn't expect to see from the get-go.

This was one of those things that if needed to be replaced, dealer had to "improvise." I'm surprised that local parts clucks were unaware of this.
