I just installed my ELM327 and Torque Pro in 2006 Ford F350 6.0. I'm not sure of a few settings. On the vehicle editor, What are the following values:
Boost Adjustment
Volumetric Efficiency
Do I need to change the Vehicle Weight when I'm towing a fifth wheel...to get the proper HP, etc.?
I'm not getting accurate readings with boost. It just acts weird.
Here is what the developer told me. (I have things all set according to his remarks)
Hi
Diesels will read 0 (or very close to 0) boost at engine idle (it’s only petrol vehicles that will register a vacuum). This is due to how diesel engines work as opposed to petrol.
It is very important on some vehicles that the engine displacement, fuel type, and VE are correctly setup in the vehicle profile for boost measurements to be correct.
If you have all this setup correctly, then you should be getting an accurate boost reading. The only thing that will then throw it out is a faulty MAP or MAF sensor (and in other cases, faulty IAT sensor).
I do not know about the HP and changing them when towing.
its seems pretty cool, but a couple things don't work for me. I am using the paid version with latest update and the ford pid add-on. #1 the EOT shows acive sensor but it reads ) degrees and doesn't change. #2 the boost gauge read's right up to 20 psi and then it goes mad, flicks into the vacuum side and starts bouncing all over the place. any ideas

I have the same problem with the EOT. It reads 32 F constantly. I had the dealer check to make sure the EOT sensor was working and they said it worked fine.
