I didn't do anything different, but the following day after posting this complaint, it worked normally. I have had no more problems with it connecting and disconnecting to Torque. (I had at some point while troubleshooting, changed a number of different Torque App settings and returned some to default.)
But I did notice a different bluetooth app having problems. It could be my phone and related to the particular Bluetooth on my phone. It is a Droid RAZR M. The other bluetooth app seems to think it is disconnected when it really is connected according to the settings page and the bluetooth device.
For us V10 gasers has anyone ever tested adding cylinders #9 and #10 to the Ford PIDs, Torque Pro App? I have looked all over FTE and the Torque Website without any success. Just wondering before I attempt to write them?
Any thoughts, really worried about #10 adding another space and decimal place?

No, my calculation was flawed, 221617 was already used by the system. I contacted Ford engineers and didn't get a response. I will ask my mechanic next time I meet with him for my plugs and coils change out.
I'm looking for the full set if pids I can get for a 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.8ltr gas engine to use in Torque Pro.
Would anyone please post these as a DL for me? Export? Attachment? I've used them before on other vehicles as a .xls spreadsheet etc, but I just can't find what I want for this engine.
