PO475 Trouble Code
Need some help...
Just installed a new GTP38 Turbo and Non-EBPV pedestal. What do I do with the connector that attached to the EBPV sensor? It keeps spitting out the PO475 toruble code!!!! Driving me nuts!!!
Thanks ahead of time!!!

Put a 470 ohm 1/2 watt resistor across the pins in the plug, fold the wires in half and stick in the plug. Resistor can be got at Radio Shack.

Just out of curiosity, with that resistor value, what does the ECM see?

I'm curious too.... does it make the code go away all together?
I know theres a plug you can buy and plug into the harness that is supposed to get rid of the code... but it's like $35 or so.

I'm guessing it is just tellin git that there "is" a connection.
BUT when it tries to turn on the EBPV, what happens then?

The resistor is the same thing as the $35.00 plug just not as fancy. All the resistor does is mimic the plug being plugged to the solenoid. And all the solenoid does is open a valve and flood a chamber with oil to push out the rod to close the EBPV. Won't hurt mpgs
