Code Po475

I'm getting the trouble code PO475 on my 00 F350 Sd 7.3l and it's caused me to fail smog twice. An acquaintance look it up and said it was my DFPE sensor and he got one for $120. Bad thing is that I can't seem to find where it would be on my truck and don't actually think it goes on a diesel motor. I have noticed on other posts that it goes on f150's, cars and other gas vehicles. Would appreciate any advice or knowledge on the subject

Wrong sensor for that code. P0475 is for an issue with the Exhaust Back Pressure Regulator. It's not an issue with the EGR system. Your acquaintance led you astray if he said DPFE sensor. Perhaps there was a miscommunication...
