Ok, raining like crazy here and I am trying to figure out where the water leak into my cab is. Until then, I may get a truck cover for it.

 

We need your rain 140K acre fire in Az

 

That is pretty scary. Hope the fire crews can get it contained soon.

Another day of mixed rain and grey here. I had to empty my truck bed of all the rain water. I don't want to give the mosquitoes a free home.

 

I am SOOOOOO freakin ready for Summer ! ! !

 

It is zero percent contained the entire week is smoke elderly are supposed to stay in and no swamp coolers are to run..

 

Unfortunately, the government will spend millions fighting the fire instead of just letting it run its course. I say protect the homes in its path, but let the fire go. That is nature's way. By artificially stopping from from doing what comes naturally, government is only prolonging the inevitable. Hear in CA the fires are much worse that need be because of the gov policy of putting them out asap no matter what the cost. Jag

Where in Mendocino County? I used to live in Boonville and Ukiah.

 

I was just at Dopplegangers Brewery in Minden the other day sipping on a cold beer when I heard some folks at the bar saying that Black Mountain Hotshots are down there too. I would think most all of the local fire crews in Northern Nevada and Northern Cal, especially hand crews are down that way now since there really aint much going on in our neck of the woods, or anywhere else other than the Southwest for that matter... Well, not yet anyway.
