I'm sure you would eyeball a 6.9 as first choice. More depends on intended use. A Cummins 4BT can do most driving duties, but a 6BT can make for some good thrust. You could also go oddball, and run a Detroit 4-53T.

 

yea a 6.9 if i could get a turbo but 4bt is nice if i can get 350 hp out it of it it will be turning 35s and it has to be able to have a manuel tranny

 

A 4BT or 6BT, or 6CT can share the same transmissions. So, you could use a full setup off a Dodge on a 4BT. The 350hp thing would be spendy to pull off on a 4BT though.

Thank God I'm not a prissy, can't get grease under my nails kinda girl! Hell yah... WOOHOO! Let's get to work! I think I'm more worried about my back hurting afterward than anything else. LOL! I have to work tomorrow night at the store stocking, so I know my back's going to be sore either way. On the plus side...atleast it's not one of those newer "no room to work" in the engine compartment vehicles. Gotta love the old ones!
