I remember Brian saying the only tuner that was hard to tune in the tranny was DP cause of the higher line pressure he uses. Maybe other tuners don't have that problem? Anyone have any input on this? When Brian and I went for a drive he said just have the shift pressure and points returned to stock and it would be great. But I was live tuned and that also fixes the shifting.

Guys, I guess I'm kinda late to the game, but I guess you BOTH have new transmissions now?? how are they doing? everything you expected? more? less?
Whats this about the BTS trans not being real friendly with the DP tuner???

You just need to have your chip reburned for the addition of the BTS trans. I drove around for 6 months before having it changed. The only thing I noticed from not changing the tunes was down shifts were harder. Now that I got live tuned at RRE all is perfect.
They do work well together, they just have to be adjusted. One of the main problems most people have is if they don't get re burnt before the trans build there will be some severe down shifting issues. Mine shifted fine in the econo tune cause I had Jody remove the the downshift from 4-3. But in my tow tune it was still there and would downshift real hard.

I didnt think I could get that one past you......but I sure did try.

We both do, and its far more than I expected. Not one regret!
It was a fun trip, and we had a great time in Lead Hill.
As for the tuner question, my intention is not to turn this thread into a DP vs BTS tunes debate, but this is all that I have say about the subject, and then I'm done.

All right folks, my apologies if I've zombied this thread back from the dead but I finally posted a few photos of our trip to BTS. Here's a pic of the gang, graciously snapped by Brian's wife, Patti. You can probably pick out Brian, and Frank is the short guy.

Maybe you should have brought your local trans expert and let him learn a few things from Brian.
