Trucks all done, all I can say is I am one happy fat man. Brian and his crew are awesome. My truck has a whole new lease on life.
Its absolutely amazing how a top shelf transmission makes the truck feel so much more solid and powerful. Can't wait to haul the 5'r
I took some pics and will post later when I get back to the hotel. Kent, Jason, and I are hanging out at Brians shop talkin trucks.
Thanks to all for the well wishes.

Costa, I was amazed that it wasn't as bad as I thought. Most of my clutches were burnt up especially 4th. But Brian said it just looked like a typical worn out 4R100.

We are waiting for Brian to finish mine now.
To avoid further neck slaps from Jason. Here is a few pics from Today.
Here is my trans after Brian worked his magic, and stuffed it full of secret parts.
The end of the yellow brick road...
Long drive, but well worth the trip!
Looks good Frank, congrats. I'm surprised that shop floor is so clean. I guess your x transmission guy did not rebuild it. Did Brian have a clue as to the origin? Have a good trip home or kinda home.

Thanks Grant. Brians shop is spotless. he has nice air conditioned rebuild room where you watch him work his magic.
My old trans was a junkyard trans just as I suspected, it was far too worn out for the 20k miles that I put on it.
It was a Ford reman, and Brian showed me all of the worn out parts that Ford put right back in the trans when they Reman them.
I would never waist my money on one, I can tell you that.
Congrats!!! A BTS is on my wishlist for sure, but there's another toy I might be picking up tomorrow first. Of course, if I end up getting a ride in a BTS-equipped truck one of these days, that may bump up the priority list...
LOVE the CC Dually too! That's also on the wishlist! hahahahaha...
As my friend and I always used to joke, "I dread the day my tranny goes kaput because I can't afford for it to happen...but I'm secretly praying for it to happen anyway, AND SOON, because I'm getting a BTS!!!"
Glad you are finally finished with this ordeal. Keep us informed Frank.
Jason, slap him one time for me.
Thanks Rick, this is a huge load of stress off of my shoulders.
I could not be any happier with Brians trans, his crew, the way him and his wife treated us like family, and the overall "BTS experiance"
There is now way to desribe the feeling of confidence that Brian can install in you and your truck than to come here and have the "experiance" for your self" he truley has my respect.
Kent and I have a few more pics that we will post once we get back home.
Stay tuned......(thats a pun)
