To show my appreciation I ordered another pair to replace the rears!!
Whenever I am looking for an item like a camera, TV, stereo etc., my usual m.o. is to hit Crutchfields web site and/or speak with one of their techs. to find what fits, works or they recommend depending on what I'm looking for and then run over to Amazom and buy said item for less and get free 2 day shipping - if the item is "Prime". Sometimes I like to throw Crutchfield a bone for abusing their great customer service.

My M.O. is similar. When I need anything for my truck, I check with the hive here to see what others are using, whether it fits, opinions good or bad, and the like. Then I decide from there and after a lot of research I buy at the best price I can find, be it Amazon, eBay, or where ever. If there is a sustantial savings, as in this case, with CF "on sale" at $87.99 and Amazon at $53.99 for the exact same known commodity, including shipping, I throw the hive a bone here and paste the link so my FTE brethern can save that 33% and go buy more stuff that I may need in the future for my truck ...

I have a decent HD camcorder with 5.1 surround stereo built in and I set it on the center console about dead center of the cab. I recorded this at full volume because I wanted to see if it picked up the distortion and afterwards decided that wasn't such a good idea as my camera has a limiter on the input sound volume so it does not seem as loud on the video as it did in person but you get a taste of the difference between the stock and new speakers. The clarity is not as appearent due to the limiter cutting off a lot of the sound.
My first impression is these Infinitys ROCK!

I left the stock tweets in and the -3db button alone so the sound is a little bright but I am a little deaf at the higher freqs so it works out good for me.
I don't normally listen to my music at high volume any more but it is nice to know that when that occasional great song comes on, I can crank it up.
Here's the vid:

My second impression is these Infinitys are well worth the money for the upgrade. Wished I would have done this the day I drove it off the lot. Actually, I really wish Ford would have done it...
Just for fun I weighed the speakers for comparison.
The stock "speakers" (if you can even call them that) were 11.5oz.
The Infinitys were 2 pounds 12oz each.
I ordered up 4 of them and completed the install MUCH faster than I expected. Maybe 90 minutes start to finish, and the only reason it even too that long was me not being bright enough to pull the tweeter housings off the door. Protip - take them off before trying to remove the panel.
The sound was much clearer but a bit bright with the -3db switches left off. One thing I did notice was that the volume seemed lower. Much clearer and crisper music but definitely lower levels. Since no one else mentioned this I was scratching my head and went back to the box....uh oh, 682.9cf is a 4 ohm speaker. That explains it.
After 2 days of contemplation and going back to listen once more, I decided to add a 5 channel amp (still keeping the factory sub). One JL XD700/5 amp and $500.00 (installed) later, I'm a happy guy. I'm not 20 anymore and I don't need the shake the fillings out of my teeth or have the bass wake the neighborhood, but my sound now really rocks. Clear, clean and crisp all the way to max (which is too loud for my anymore anyway).
One thing that I had heard but there is still no way to prepare you for is how cheap the factory speakers are. 1 of the Kappas weigh almost exactly the same as all 4 of the stock speakers. Someone made the comment that you couldn't find speakers that cheap...it wasn't an exaggeration.
If you want to just upgrade your speakers, I would make sure you stick to 2 Ohm versions. If you don't mind adding a small amp (mine fit behind the back seat pass side), you can really find a lot of the music you have been missing.
P.S. >PITS - Dark Side of the Moon was my test album too
Should be able to handle the front doors, but as I have a supercab the rear door removal does not apply. Has anyone done the rear doors on a supercab?
Looks like the bolt for the seatbelt and the rear window lever have to come off and then remove the weatherstripping...?
