So is it better with the red line plugged in to the waste gate or unplugged? Also when you do have it unplugged from the turbo, do you have the red line capped or plugged? Just trying to get all the details an still very confused!
If your wastegate is working correctly, better to have it plugged in.
If you make too much boost, you are gonna defuel the engine, and your turbo is just going to hate life...anything over 25PSI is gonna shorten your turbo life.
BUT...
Mine is unplugged.... mostly because I broke the wastegate nipple the red line plugs onto. (I took the nipple out, and ran the line back and plugged it into the nipple on the sensor bracket on the spider so theres no boost leak) I can push a little over 30PSI...but it really isn't good for it.
