Thought my problem was the slave or master cylinder. But after complete change out still the same. If I start it up in gear with the clutch in, it just goes down the road. This is the first trans problem for my 2000 dualle. Just wondering if it will be just a defective clutch after all these years. Truck only has 133,000 miles.
I'm wondering if his is just starting to bend since it sounds like is clutch is almost working. I don't know. My 99 never had a bent fork and my 02 has the updated one so I have no experience with it.
Mine broke on me on my way home from work one evening, when I went to pull in the drive and down shift it wouldn't do anything. This was about 2 weeks after Ford put in my first new clutch.

Yea when the fork goes it just breaks like this. Mine broke after I put in the new Valiar. I should have changed it then as some of you suggested while the tranny was out.

Yea my replacement was courtesy of Ford, Rollback and all
actually my fork just bent then broke slowly over a month. pedal friction point just got closer to the floor until it wouldn't disengage. Thought it was weird, but didn't think it was all that strange.
