Who makes a good e4od

My transmission came apart last week only 9 mo sense I paid a guy to rebuild it. Who makes good transmissions. Monster transmissions keeps coming up in my searches but they recently changed there name from racetransmissions.com and you have to watch out for companies that have to change names often. There product sounds good but but they might just have a good web designer Has anybody bought a transmission from one of the chain parts stores that offer 3yr warranties?

I know Rebuilt C6's are like.....800-1000, they dont got the lockup converter for the pulling aspect, but they are damn near unkillable, the one in the 86 is "DYING" it still shifts and tries to pull things lol.

Jasper! (just kidding... I had 2 Jasper rebuilts. 1st one died in the warranty period, the 2nd died just after the warranty ran out)

Ford rebuilts get updated with all the factory changes, regardless of what version came in. I have several years on a Ford rebuilt with no problems...

Just remember you get what you pay for, Some PO of my truck got a cheap rebuild and they put in the 3disk forward clutch pack from a small block gasser. Well after getting her hot a couple times at 24,000gross before i had a guage in it, (i know it got hot i could smell atf in the cab). Got it rebuilt with a 5disk pack and a shift kit to firm up that slushy 2-3 shift. So new pump, forward clutch drum, coast clutch drum, low reverse clutch drum, disks, steels, shift kit, and rebuilt furnace brazed converter, it was 1137. It shifts nice and firm if i want to adjust the vrv it will hurt your back when it shifts, if i use the stick to downshift empty it will squak the tires.

Geee I didn't even know it was possible to have "Good transmission, and E4OD" in the same sentence!
