I got home and she came home from work, the youngest picked her up, she had an allergic reaction to something at work, which caused an asthma attack, which caused an anxiety attack, so we spent 4 hours in the ER!
They gave her a shot of Xanax to help with the anxiety attack, luckily my youngest was at the mall when she called, brought her benedryl and her inhaler, which helped quickly, but because of the labored breathing she irritated the plural sac around the lungs which made taking a deep breath hurt.
They thought at first she might have thrown a blood clot into her lungs, but just glad that wasn't the case.
No, she has a note for three days of no work, but something there caused it, we just don't know what. She works in a clothing store at the mall, so it could have been just about anything she touched or even something a customer brought in...??????
I'm just glad the youngest had the sense for reacting quickly to the situation, even the ER doc said it was the fast administering of the Benadryl and Alubuterol that made a difference.
