I had a guy in a full-size last summer, blatantly trying to follow me to one of my fishing holes that I do not tell anyone about. We got to place in the jeep trail where it runs between 2 huge Doug Fir trees.........I folded the west-coast mirrors on my Ranger in, which makes my truck only 62" wide........Breezed right through. They guy in the fullsize? I hope he had fun turning around or hiking 6 miles..........KEEP that B2!! You are a big outdoors guy, and a trail rig like a B2 literally puts you MILES ahead of the guys with fullsizes.
Micah,
The first one...........a lot of miles, I would avoid the first gen of those F-150s
The second rig............SACRILEGE! HERESY!!!!........It has a Chevy 350! means he got tired by the end of the job and cheaped out on a motor, instead of staying faithful to the blue oval!...........Henry Ford is looking down from heaven with a frown.
i am partial to the 92-96 f150s myself except for dentsides...i want to keep the bII also but when we get pregnant we will probably have to get rid of it for a 4 door suv
the diesels in the 250's were alright. 96 and newer 150's i never cared for. to many engine problems on the over head cam motors. the chain would chew up the guide and fill the oil pan up with plastic and plug the engine up causing bearing fail and erratic oil pressure.
i'll stick with my push rod 4.0 ranger. i just wished they made a different cam grind so i step the lift and duration up alittle.
