Ahh, I see. That's always a challenge for sure, those local roads.

Especially through all those little towns where they drop the speed limit to 25 ....

They do a lot of that out here too. Some cases, it's warranted but in most it's pretty ridiculous.

Evening Arlene

Steve - the locals generally patrol the back roads out here, and they can be kinda crabby sometimes. Very rarely does PASP do the local road patrols.

Hey Arlene, it was great seeing you too, sorry I had to cut out early, wife wasn't feeling well and had to get back to take care of the diabetic pets.

It is an awesome sound, I can hear that helicopter coming and know what it is before seeing it, the only sad part is knowing it's only dispatched for ALS emergencies and it's never good.

we have a lot of small towns without law enforcement, and the state still does all that patrolling.

That chopper video was pretty amazing. I wish I could have captured the landing of that military carrier plane that went overhead of here yesterday while I was working on the truck.

They're doing a lot of regional consolidation around here because the small town departments can't keep going on their own - but the PASP only gets called in when needed to help out.
