I put 3/4 of a yard of sand in my Ranger, springs handled it surprisingly well,.... brakes? eh, not so much...........look out ahead!!!!

When I had my 88 Ranger, we supported the back with jackstands, put a plastic tarp in it, and filled the bed with water. Wala! instant swimming pool!
