Getting interesting here now...

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch until 7:00 p.m. CST this evening which replaces a large portion of the Severe Thunderstorm Watch. This severe weather may bring large size hail and strong winds.

The new watch is valid for the following 12 counties in Nebraska:

In East Central Nebraska
Butler, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, Washington

In Northeast Nebraska
Colfax, Platte

In Southeast Nebraska
Cass, Lancaster, Otoe, Seward


This includes the cities of Bellevue, Blair, Columbus, David City, Fremont, Lincoln, Nebraska City, Omaha, Plattsmouth, Schuyler, Seward and Wahoo.

I don't mind the regular T-storms, the wife and I love to watch them. Not wild about the tornadoes.

Just went outside. It's dark, and windy, but no rain. I don't think the brunt of it is here yet.
