I wondered the same thing about the nozzles and I found 1 good thing about them this winter. I hate sweeping the snow off the truck in them mornings and seldom do. usually if I can get a credit card sized clear spot in the windshield to see out of I take off and let the wind do the rest. the only problem is usually everything blows off other than the snow that sits on my cowl where the windshield wipers are and that sits there forever. I noticed with my nozzles sitting so far out on the hood that the washers still worked where my dodge ones were always burried. I don't know, i kind of like them there, lets me stay lazy
