Since foxtails don't show up on x-rays, we didn't know what was wrong with him--other than that he was barely able to breathe--until the abcess was opened to relieve pressure on his lungs, and the foxtail came out in the mess.

Good Afternoon Everyone. Nice ride to the San Diego Mountains. A nice 77 degrees. When we got down to El Centro it was 102 degree & 100 degrees here in Yuma.

Good Morning Steve & Bill. Another warm one here today. Going to put front brake pads on the ole Blazer. I have an idler or alternator bearing starting to make noise every so often so need to check it out. Oh well what are Sundays for? Tommy. my dog will provide the moral support I need.

Congrats on the new job Cody. I got my brake pads on. Now I can goof off. One side was down to the wear indicators. That explained the loud squeaking I heard a few times in the San Diego Mountains. The other is the serpentine belt. This is the only vehicle that I have had a problem with. I use the Good NAPA belts. This one I just put on in the Fall. Damn things drive me crazy. Anyone ever have that problem of squealing serpentine belt, what is the fix other than another belt? Belt dressing, soap, that stuff only makes it worse.

I can't say I have ever had a "good" napa belt myself. I use goodyear or gates with no issues
