Jim, what are you using to fill the cracks? i have mine to fix sometime in the future.
Bill, Believe it or not, JB Weld seems to be about the best. I have tried PC-7 with poor results and bought a repair kit years ago that used what looked, mixed, and smelled like JB Weld. This will be about the 7th wheel I've done so far.
Got some parts degreased tonight. also soldered up some pin holes in the base of the oil bath air cleaner where water apparently sat for years.
ordered some front end parts last night and finished the bondo work on my tailgate, just needs a final sand and primer. I can't wait to paint the truck!

Nice! I never thought about doing that with mine. it's got cracks all over and a big chunk missing on the ring.
Good Morning Everyone. Suppose to be warming into the high 90s. I have been spoiled by the 70s & 80s I'm not real sure I'm ready for mid to high 90s let alone the 120s.

Sure sounds like those rocks were gold, Bill. $417 worth.
When he was about a year old, one of our beagles inhaled a $1200 foxtail. It ended up migrating out of his lung through the pleura and causing an abcess about the size of a softball. Since foxtails don't show up on x-rays, we didn't know what was wrong with him--other than that he was barely able to breathe--until the abcess was opened to relieve pressure on his lungs, and the foxtail came out in the mess.
