Thanks! But, unfortunently i have actually already came across thoses ones during my quest. I have overlooked craigslist daily, for a while now.
I have come across a good amount of real nice ones just cruisin through neighborhoods, but the ones i find, the owner doesn't want to sell. Even cash in their face, they don't budge lol.
One day, Ill find a good one that doesn't need any rebuilds or anything major. Just sucks, i hate riding in my wife's car
called this dude up. This has pretty much everything i wanted. Good camper mirrors, extendable rear bumper, top of line trim, good interior, f350 140" wb etc. It just isn't insured, or tagged, and would need to be trailered home from Dewey, to Phoenix. He said "it runs geat" but they ALLLLL say that. My question is, if it ran so great, how come it isn't registered? He has been trying to sell it for a good couple of months now.
Craig, that is cool that you are doing that with your dog! How much does it cost to get your dog certified for that?
Looks like another great day to continue my camper special search!!
Matt
Good afternoon everyone.
He has to go through 10 hours of observation. To be certified. I think it is like $20/year to be a member of Love on a Leach. One of the ladies here can cert. him. Yea he will be good at this deal. He is natural for this. He loves everyone.

Anyways, maybe someone else might be interested......If it was tagged, it would be in my drive way now
Matt
Oh I hear ya I hate to even admit how much time I spent looking as it was a must
for me to find a unit without PS & PB with a hook and I really wanted a 6cly
but I'll live with the 360.
Dewey is not that far and it's a pretty small town if it's that close to what you
want and in your range go up and drive it ! if it runs that good get a three day permit
on line and drive it home
I'm thinking that it's not registered mostly because of the fuel prices and having a
460. That's a lot of truck for the money IMO
good morning all they had a hot air balloon show here in douglas this morning. they were scared that it was going to be to windy and that it was gonna float them into mexico. it was good weather though, have a great day
Joe (fouronetons), I was reading over the post, and i just now noticed that you responded to my questions regarding vacuum leaks.
Thank you for that response. It made me understand it a lot better.
If a truck has a vacuum leak, is this something that should be avoided? Or does it just sound bad since i don't know anything about it? Is it a costly repair at a mechanics?
Vacuum leaks can be easy to fix, Matt. Or they can be a little harder, like if they're caused by a bad intake manifold gasket or other issues with the intake manifold, but that's very rare. They can easily happen to older trucks around worn parts in/on the carburetor, like a worn throttle shaft. Or they can be caused by some oddball emission control on older trucks that can't be easily replaced. I wouldn't let a vacuum leak scare me away without trying to find the cause.

It could be that he doesn't have insurance, or can't afford to cover more than one vehicle, and the registration got suspended by ADOT. Or if he wasn't driving it anyway, he may have let the insurance and/or registration lapse to save money. Just sayin' there's various reasons why people let their registration lapse and they're not all bad.

Good on you and Tommy for doing that, Craig.
I did it with my last dog with a different group--I think it was Therapy Dogs International. It's been a few years. He was great at it--beagle fox terror (sic) mix. Best dog I ever had. I miss him.
I have been making rain since Thursday! this weekend was the 4H FFA livestock show and sale, the rodeo grounds were a dust ball. So I ran the water truck for 3 days. 1500 gallons 2 1/2 minutes to fill about 10 minutes to empty it would be interesting to know how many gallons I dumped this week.
anyhow show is over clean up is tomorrow so I am hauling all the straw and manure after church tomorrow.
Good Evening Everyone.
Maybe I'll have to down size one of Tommy's pictures to put back up on my avatar. He is a great dog. He was a rescue dog I found in the pound in Gardnerville NV last year. So he has no papers which is just OK by me. Hes just a big love.
Don't love the wind but love the results, had to run some errands tonight and turned the AC off and put all the windows down while I cruised the construction zones on the 202 @ 65 degrees.
Gotta soak it up now, this is our last cool weather in the valley before it becomes a blast furnace until September.
