I can't say I have ever had a "good" napa belt myself. I use goodyear or gates with no issues
Thanks Bart, You know I have not been happy with more & more things from NAPA. I will try a different brand next time. The bad thing is I always carry a new spare belt & I bought a new NAPA when I replaced the old one with this one. So it may have to just stay a spare.

napa is trying to be competitive with checker and autozone on pricing so they are lowering their quality to keep prices down

GOOD MORNING Steve, Justin, & Bart
The truth is I have better luck with stuff from AutoZone a great portion of the time. I have always had accounts at NAPA over the years. But I find myself buying less & less. I wanted some 10-40 motorcycle synthetic oil & it looks like NAPA can't help me but AutoZone shows it on-line as available in store.
Bart where do you find the best parts??? I had a NAPA distributor put in my Blazer a year ago & a week later it was throwing a code "the distributor" I took it into the shop & sure enough the distributor was defective.

I use just about every parts store in Chino and Prescott. over the years I have learned (through trial and error) what lines to buy at what stores. ie carquest blue line filters are wix filters same as napa gold. Autozone's good serpentine belts are goodyear, their cheaper ones are kelly spring field.

Yea I'm going to have to branch out there is a CarQuest here. I use the best NAPA belts & they are the ones I have been having trouble with. But I'm not a Goodyear fan either. All they care about is keeping a NASCAR & Government account. The rest of us can go to heck as I see it.
I try to buy from Rockauto if I have time to wait. I was just getting use to their time frame of delivery, when for whatever reason FedX decided to delay my last order. So that caused me to back up some on them.
The NAPA here is about a friendly as a rattlesnake ready to strike.
So onward & upward.

Hey, i can get on the site now! this morning i was having trouble.
Nice and Windy today!
I know what you mean. I was ready to chuck this lame old laptop out the window this morning... couldn't get FTE to load... Then I saw others posting about their troubles so this computer gets to live another day.
I as a rule don't have trouble getting on this site but that isn't true with other sites. Sleep tight. we cooled off a little today. We aren't really windy but a brisk breeze I would call it. Like 10-14 mph. Windy to me is 30+ mph.
