Freak n thieves

Well today it happened, some SOB's swiped my 2007 6.0 from the front of my house. Sometime after midnight and before 06:00 this morning. Gone, no broken glass nothing to wake anybody, pro hit. I bought this truck right off the lot it would have turned 67000 kms today on a planned road trip.It burns my rear end that this crap has to happen, these spineless losers seem to feel that my hard work to have what I have is for their benefit and or amusement or what ever. The last two years I have had the truck my family and I have gone through two lay offs(unemployed now) and we have struggled to keep the truck. All for what. By the end off this week it was looking like it could have gone to work making us some much needed money, now that is gone.RCMP tell me that the truck has most likely been (they are sure) involved in a string of B&E'S(even this detachment got hit) in at least two towns so if recovered it will not likely be the truck I new and trusted. I guess one should have looked at a power disconnect something like they use on the race cars or who knows what.Today these spineless pieces of crap will get what they want some how or if not will destroy your property to a point of write off. Watch your neighborhood get to know your next door neighbor and down the street, this is something our area has lost,WHY, new neighbors and no one wanting to get involved with the next door or the issues. Get involved if people think your nosy to bad you might just have saved their propriety.Wait till it happens to you, sorry for the rant but I am just smoken right now. Lots of new unwanted issue to deal with on Monday.

Sorry to hear that you were "hit".

A Ravelco system (or similar) is a good investment IMO.

Sorry for the loss. I can only imagine how you feel. I hope you find the SOB and your truck in one piece just the way you had it. Karma is a b!tch and they'll get what's coming to them someday.

I too am sorry for your loss. This is one reason that every vehicle I own is parked in a locked garage. I'm fortunate enough to be on a 1/2 acre and have a garage large enough to do it for everything other than the 5th wheel and it has a major lock on the kingpin.

Sorry for your luck bud. I just know the type of people roaming the streets at night and what they'll do to get a ride quick. I got an alarm/starter combo put in with starter disable the first week I bought the truck. I've tried all the known "quiet" entry's into my superduty and if any of them are used the alarm go's off and pages me in my house or even mall. I have a tested range of over 1 mile from the truck.
Its been a great piece of mind for me.

Well if it makes you feel any better I had a 2000GTP that was stolen at gun-point (typical Albuquerque car-jacking) while the girlfriend was driving. It popped back up 3 days later with the car thief dead in the backseat (I hope it was painful).

I have a similar system that notifies me on my cell phone. Great investment for peace of mind

I read yesterday the worst area for automobile theft is a area in Texas, 234 vehicles per 1,000 yes that's almost 1 in every 4. Do you think it has anything to do with border jumpers?

Bunch of spineless cowards would rather steal our stuff than work for it like we did, I hope you get it back. I will look in to a Ravelco or similar system for my own.

No way! Clearly the staggering rate of theft down there is due to the yellow food coloring in Mountain Dew. In no way does it have anything to do with illegals or the fact that there is a huge market for stolen cars in Mexico... At least that's the kind of BS our gov't tells us right?
